The Epic 2023 “Snowdona” Mountain Bike Festival
Last month, we had the privilege of attending the Sedona Mountain Bike Festival (dubbed Snowdona this year), and I wanted to share our experience with you all. As many of you know, the festival is one of our favorites of the year, and we were stoked to be a part of it once again.
This year's festival was met with an unexpected challenge - a proper amount of snow dumped on the town on Wednesday night, just hours before we were scheduled to begin setup. With a foot of snow in the expo area, there was no way setup would happen on Thursday, the organizers were going to need the full day to clear the venue!
The Friday of the festival was canceled, but the organizers worked tirelessly to clear the trails for the rest of the weekend.

On Saturday, the festival kicked off and the expo area was jam packed, since the trails were still shut down and everyone was on the hunt for a good time!
We were able to showcase our latest products at the event (new mountain bike shorts, mtb gloves, and some special edition items we cooked up just for Sedona). Throughout the weekend, we were serving piping hot coffee in our booth, which was provided by our good friends at Pine Valley Coffee Co, as they served up pourovers of their special Vortex Party Blend!
On Sunday, we were all finally able to dust off our bikes and hit the few trails that the forest service had cleared to ride.
The snow made for a unique and beautiful setting, with snow-capped mountains surrounding the entire valley. Despite the challenges, we had an incredible time hanging out with thousands of our Sedona friends and fellow mountain bike enthusiasts, some who travel from around the world for this event.

One of the highlights of the festival was the TASCO Footdown Contest, which was hosted by Jeff Lenosky, Max Mitchell, Kyle Warner and April Zastrow. The competition was fierce, and the crowd was electric. It was a great opportunity to see some great riders go head-to-head in a friendly competition.

The friendly and supportive community, along with the stunning scenery, always make the Sedona Mountain Bike Festival an unforgettable experience. We wanted to take a moment to thank the organizers of the festival for their hard work and dedication in making sure that the festival was still a success despite the snow.

The combination of incredible trails, beautiful scenery, and a welcoming community make it a must-attend event for any mountain bike enthusiast.
